Climate and Dress Code
Darwin enjoys a year round tropical climate; lightweight summer clothing (short, t-shirts and sandals etc) is suggested. The average temperature for May/June is 20-30C. Smart casual clothes are suitable for the Congress sessions.

Welcome to City of Darwin
Darwin City is a launching pad to the Northern Territory. The Darwin City Map will allow you to become your own tour guide and explore the vast array of extraordinary sites that are unique to the Centre.
Insurance
Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Organising Committee and the Congress Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard.

The official language of the Congress is English.

Darwin’s time zone is GMT + 9.30 hours.
Visa Information (International only)
With the exception of New Zealand citizens travelling on New Zealand passports all foreign nationals must obtain a Visa/ETA before travelling to Australia. (New Zealand citizens are issued with a Visa on arrival in Australia.) For information about Visa applications to enter Australia, please visit www.immi.gov.au/visitors .
Please note that Visa applications must be submitted at least three weeks prior to date of travel.
