Welcome to the easy, informal warmth of Darwin during the early Dry Season of 2011.
The RANZCP “Close Relations” Congress will showcase exciting prominent speakers and current developments in Australasian and world psychiatry generally as well as focusing emergent issues relevant to the North of Australia such as Indigenous mental health and psychiatric issues in the near Asian Region. In addition, the Congress will have a focus on the increasing empowerment of mental health consumers and carers in respect to mental health.
Congress delegates may also wish to take advantage of Darwin’s proximity to world class natural attractions such as Kakadu, Katherine Gorge and the Kimberley to do some sight seeing or participate in other activities such as the magnificent fishing that the region has on offer.
Look forward to seeing you in Darwin in 2011.
Robert Parker
Congress Convenor
